EV America’s legacy tractor conversion kit for this elegant 1940s model is back by popular demand!   

The kit consists of name brand electrical components and a mounting kit for the motor. Our system produces up to 14 HP compared to the original 10 HP, and 45 ft-lbs of torque before gearing. Runtimes with Lead-Acid batteries typically range between 75 and 110 minutes.

  • 48VDC Motor
  • Complete Motor/Transmission Mating Kit
  • Motor Controller - 48V, 125A Continuous, 300A Peak
  • 48V Lithium Battery (lithium kits only!)
  • Battery Charger - 48V, 20A output (lithium); 48V, 15A output (lead-acid)
  • Curtis PB-8 Throttle Potbox 
  • Digital Display for State of Charge, Voltage, and Current
  • Main Contactor
  • Maintenance Disconnect Switch
  • 48V system fuse, and low voltage signal fuse
  • Cable, Lugs, Heat Shrink, and Terminal Covers
  • Complete Electrical Schematic, Manuals, and Documentation will be provided upon purchase
  • Full customer support for your build 

Lead-acid kit requires sourcing your own four 12V deep-cycle lead-acid batteries. Batteries and battery mounting bracket not included.

Lithium kit includes a 5KWh battery rated for 50A continuous and 300A peak. It has an internal circuit breaker rated at 300A for 15s. A built-in heater allows for cold-weather charging. Complete details including weight and dimensions are listed here.
